We have learnt so much since completing our preliminary task! One of the ways in which we have improved is the use of match on action, when comparing the match on action from our preliminary task to our final piece the improvement is obvious!
In our final piece, compared to our preliminary task, we explored a much wider range of shut types, for example using things like extreme close ups to help to convey the feeling in the film to the audience. This is something which we didn't do so much in our preliminary task.
I feel that we also have learnt more about shot/reverse shot throughout the project as well. For example, it flows well as we ensured that we used the 180 degree rule to ensure that there was continuity in the scene.
