The audience for our film would mainly be females in the mid teens to young adult age bracket. Looking at the audience statistics for Girl Interrupted, a similar film to ours, this would be the most appropriate and realistic target audience.
Our target audience would enjoy a wide range of music styles, and would be really interested in drama TV programs, and also maybe certain soaps. The film genres which they would be mainly interested in would be dramas, and romance films, as they are fairly serious, yet still have in depth plots, something which our audience would enjoy.
