The opening titles for Skyfall conforms to the conventions to action, adventure and thriller films as it included an exoic location in the background of the shot. The title of the film is very fitting for the scene as the style matches, it is also almost embedded into the background, which makes it look very realistic.
The colour scheme which has been used is very appropriate for its genre as quite calm and subtle colours have been used - appropriate for a serious action/adventure/thriller film.
Due to the seriousness of this title, I think this kind of design should definately be something which we consider to include in out titles.
